This is an elastic wood but very dense, tough and strong. The density is 0.75 gr/m³ with a heat capacity of 5,6MWh/t.
The wood last longer than softwoods when burned with a high heat output. It has few knots, so sparks less than other woods. It burns completely leaving very little ash, less smoke also is emitted.
Our ash Firewood is dried mechanically. It can be gotten in different packaging’s: 1m3 and 2m3 boxes and also at the request of a client.

Ash Firowood Varieties

Ash firewood comes in two main varieties: Green Ash firewood and White Ash firewood, which are slightly different each have their own pros and cons.

Green Ash Firewood

Green Ash trees are known for being hardy, creating some nice shade, and their ability to grow in a wide range of soils. These trees can grow to be as tall as 70 feet and live for up to 100 years.

Ever since Dutch Elm disease ravaged American Elm trees, Green Ash has become more and more popular, replacing them across the country. However, green ash firewood is definitely less popular than white ash firewood.

It weighs slightly more before being dried, has a lower heat BTU, and is easier to split. Often mistaken for the white ash, the green ash has many of the same characteristics. The tree is used more for ornamental purposes and is not as popular for commercial purposes as the white ash.
